Dall’incredibile accoppiata di due individui come Danger Mouse e l’ex Goodie Mob Cee-Lo Green, conosciuti già per i servizi fotografici che li ritraggono conciati da personaggi del cinema (i teppisti di "Arancia Meccanica", Wayne e Garth di "Fusi di Testa" ecc…), nasce il progetto "GNARLS BARKLEY", storpiando il nome del noto cestista NBA Charles Barkley. Il loro primo CD "St. Elsewhere" è un mix di contaminazioni soul, rap, pop e chi piu’ ne ha piu’ ne metta, come gli argomenti delle canzoni, suicidio, pazzia, mostri, necrofilia, visioni ecc…Insomma una cosa davvero CRAZY:
